The Island Rec Center has a variety of programs and sports for kids of all ages. The all day and adaptive summer programs are sold-out, but you can add yourself to the waitlist. Make sure to sign-up next year by early April to ensure your spot before they sell-out.
As an alternative, take advantage of the Island Rec Center's summer sports programs. Activities range from crew, volleyball, surfing, basketball and much much more. The Sandbox Children’s Museum offers a weekly summer camp program for children ages 4 -12 years (4-12 years at Hilton Head & 6-12 years at Tanger 2). Through the guise of play and exploration this 8 week program provides children enrolled an opportunity to explore a variety of themes that integrate hands-on learning with S.T.E.A.M. activities as well as daily staff supervised play with the museum exhibits.
