Summer is officially here, and that means it's time for fun! The Lowcountry is a great place to enjoy summer as a local or visitor. In addition to the many wonderful daily events, there are several excellent Summer Camps and programs for kids of all ages. This article will highlight some of the local Vacation Bible School Programs. All of the programs listed in this article are non-profit programs that are offered for FREE or at a very reduced cost, (in some instances, scholarships are available for those with a fee).
Beaufort:
Community Bible Church - 638 Parris Island Gateway, Beaufort 29901
Dates: June 24- June 27
Times: 9am -12pm
Ages: K4-6th Grade
Cost: Free. Families who are able to contribute to the cost of the program may wish to provide a suggested donation of $5 per child.
Theme: "International Spy Academy- Agents For The One True God"
Additional Information: Snack provided. Participants will enjoy bible study, music and dancing, arts & crafts. On Friday, June 27th, there will be a Family Fun Night open to anyone from 6pm - 8:30pm. There will be food and refreshments, entertainment and water slides for the kids.

The Baptist Church Of Beaufort -
Dates: June 23- June 27
Times: 5:30pm-8:15pm
Ages: 4 (by September 1st) - 5th Grade
* A separate program, called "Adventure Week" is available for grades 6- Rising 9th on the same dates and time.*

Theme: "Have U Herd?"

Additional Information: Participants will enjoy bible stories, music and dancing, and games.

Ages: Rising K - 5

Additional Information: Snack Provided. Classes will be held June 16th - June 19th. June 20th will be the Family Celebration, held from 5:30pm - 8pm

Ages: 4- 11

Hilton Head Island:
All Saints Episcopal Church - 3001 Meeting St., Hilton Head Island, SC
Dates: June 9th - June 13th
Times: Please contact the church for times.
Ages: 3- 11 yrs. Younger children may be accepted if they have had at least one year of pre-school. Older children are eligible the summer immediately following 5th grade.
Cost: Free
Theme: "Weird Animals- Where Jesus' Love Is One-of-a-Kind"

Theme: "The Game Plan"
Additional Information: Activities available to children based on age and interest. Soccer, Basketball, Tennis, Cheerleading and Flag Football. All children will receive a T-Shirt, and snack.
